Nacre (meaning Mother of Pearl)

Nacre was created as part of my online workshop with Painting with Fire V4 (2024/2025).
She is a delicate piece, made with bisque fired clay, encaustic wax/paint and oil sticks. She reminds me of Mother of Pearl, the inner shell of the oyster, where a beautiful pearl has been lovingly made.
