Even though the steel tree presents rusted, it boldly displays strength and steadfastness.
Despite the challenging and unpredictable conditions in Australia, fresh life blooms with delicate and bright green glass flowers.
 
Evergreen is the first of many collaborative efforts from the skilled duo, Cath and Tracy. What started as a simple request from the latter for some minor steel work to test a theory, a friendship quickly blossomed into a full-blown partnership. The classic melding of forged steel and meticulously crafted glass work catapulting the two artists into international limelight.
 
Evergreen, in its very first ever appearance, took home arguably the greatest of prizes - the 'Peoples Choice Award' at the famed 2024 Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show.
 
Evergreen is a black smithed steel tree covered in 82 hand-made glass flowers.
No two flowers are the same, to indicate the various stages of a flower's blooming cycle. They are held onto the steel stems using neodymium magnets, which enables the artists to remove the blooms for safe transport and installation within its forever home.

When Evergreen is delivered to your home, the artists will attach the flowers with a heavy duty outdoor adhesive, should you wish to display it outdoors once it has had its time inside your entrance. Spare flowers will of course be provided in case of accidental damage, and we can chat about commissioning different colours at your leisure.
